BlackRock Announces 1:3 Reverse Stock Split for ETHA, Trading Costs Significantly Reduced

Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas (@EricBalchunas) revealed in a post that BlackRock announced it will implement a 1-for-3 reverse stock split on its Ethereum spot ETF $ETHA, expected to be executed in October. At that time, the share price will rise from approximately $14 to $42, and bid-ask spread costs will be compressed from approximately 7 basis points to approximately 2 basis points. Balchunas also pointed out that compared to trading fees on cryptocurrency exchanges that start at 140 basis points, fee control awareness in the ETF market is significantly stronger, with a substantial gap between the two.
