As of Monday, the premium has continued its longest negative streak in history.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>10x Research head Markus Thielen said the negative premium indicates that US institutional investors are still liquidating Bitcoin. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe persistent discount of Coinbase prices relative to global exchanges suggests selling pressure from US-based institutions continues to outweigh buying demand,\u201d he told Cointelegraph. <\/p>\n<p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-images.ctmedia.io\/media\/content\/pasted-image-2225.png\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><em>Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index from April 26 to Aug. 3.
